Adore

I'm sitting down and trying to focus and medite about something like this one, what really do I adore in this time of my life? mmm being honest to myself,  I wish with all my heart that could be The Lord Jesus Christ, but how could it be possible if I forget doing the things that He did when He was on earth? How is it possible if I don't remember Him every single moment of my life?

Then, what can I do to really Adore him? How my soul can be hungry?

This is a special time, Christmas time, and this means that is all about Him. That's why I ask you Sandra to forget those things that distract you and refocus in what really matters, the really Christmas' gift.

No problem, this is in my mind!!! But what do I need to do to have it in my heart also?

Please I need your help...

  1. I think adoration comes from allowing ourselves to be quiet and think about just one thing (Jesus) and all the ways that we are blessed by him in our lives. Writing down the blessings helps me keep a spirit of adoration.

  2. First, thanks so much for keeping it real! You are not alone! I've been there...going through the motions of Christmas but really thinking, "Ok, am I missing something?" I knew the story. I had been in church. I had done what I needed to do. But if I really got to the core, there was nothing there. Truthfully, I had a lot of work to do between me and God. Stuff I couldn't even write about. I just hid everything under the rug and moved on. Its like going to the manger, but not believing this baby really is the Messiah. Now after bringing my mess to Him and allowing a transformation to occur, Christmas means so much to me. I've seen what He can do in my life. I trusted Him enough to adore Him. Praying for you friend. Just know you aren't alone, but you don't have to stay there either!

    1. Thank you so much Bethany!!! I'm gonna work a lot so I can feel His spirit in this Holidays, for me and for my entire family. I had felt closed to Him many times in my life and now it hurts me because I'm so far away from Him, but I know how amazing He is and how powerful. God bless you so much and keep that relationship you have with Him

  3. It is hard to constantly think of God when we have a million other things to do. I think thats why so many purpose to start the day in the Word and set aside time especially for God each day. So excited to meet you new Friend! I pray you have a wonderful CHRIST filled Christmas!

  4. I think the key for me is to always keep my focus on Him. Starting each day in His word, memorizing scripture, surrounding myself with His people, all remind me to adore Him. Merry Christmas!

  5. This is the time of year that we celebrate the birth of a man who literally changed the world. He was also a VIP from Heaven. This might not be the actual time of year he was born, but He, himself, is worth celebrating. So, by happy, celebrate your Big Brother! He definitely Loves you!

  6. I agree with Holly. Starting the day reading God's Word makes all the difference for me. I also appreciate surrounding myself with people who remind me where to keep my focus. May we all adore Jesus as we celebrate His birth. Bless you, new friend! Following you at FMF.
